I came back and started trying to blog again, but I struggle with time so much so I had to give up the last time. Anyhow, this is my third attempt! I’m going on a whole new adventure soon and I’d like to blog throughout that and write down what I learn along the way. I can’t talk about it on here yet, but it’s exciting for me.
I wanted to return with a bit more about me, so I found these questions – and even though I wasn’t
tagged I thought it would be a bit of fun to get my blog started again.
Question 1: Shower in the
morning or evening?
Okay this one has to be evenings. I’m not a morning person, I have never been a
morning person, I will never be a morning person. I already get up at 6.30am and I’d have to dry my hair
and everything. I also tend to take ages in the shower so I’d have to get up at stupid am. Morning
showers have never been a thing in my life and I don’t think they will be anytime soon.
Question 2: City Centre or close to Nature?
This is why I love Cardiff so much, because it has both (at
least in comparison to where I live right now). I don’t think I could choose one or the other because I do need a bit of both. If I’m in the city then I crave then countryside but if I’m in the middle of no where then I get bored after about a week. I grew up in a small town close to a lot of nature, but it also
had multiple towns nearby and that worked for me.
|One of my favourite places in Cardiff!|
Question 3: Bright Colours or Neutrals?
I love bright colours. Nothing catches my attention quite like
bright colours do. If something has bright colours on it, I’ll probably buy it. The more brightly coloured the
world is, the better the world is!
Question 4: Spring or Autumn?
Spring – unless it snows like it did this year! I don’t like it when the evenings begin to get dark but I love it when they start to get light.
Question 5: Mint or Cinnamon?
Neither really. I like both but not on a very high degree, I don’t really eat either.
Question 6: Planned or Spontaneous?
I am such a planner. Being spontaneous kind of scares me, but then all the times I go out and do things
spontaneously lead to the best days, so it’s a really difficult way to be. I wish I could be more spontaneous more often, I definitely think it
makes life more exciting that way.
Question 7: A movie at home or in the cinema?
I hate movies! Definitely at home because otherwise I would get too bored. And if it’s rubbish I wouldn’t be able to switch it off. I find films boring. I have a few
I love – mainly musicals, but in general I just struggle to enjoy them. They all seem to have the same
Okay, don’t hate me guys but I was watching ‘The Greatest Showman’ for the first time the other
day and I was just like…I’ve seen this storyline before. Oh yeah, this was pretty much the storyline of
‘Sing’ – which I found terrible. I loved the music but I felt let down by the storyline considering how
popular it is, I found it so over-rated. It also moved way too quickly for me, I didn’t get the answers I wanted. I have a few films
that I can watch over and over; Pitch Perfect, Lion King, The Inbetweeners Movie…but other than classic
musicals and other Disney films, that’s just about where my enjoyment of films ends. I did surprisingly like Zootopia/Zootropolis though!
prefer to waste my time watching TV shows instead, I need the slower development.
Question 8: Espresso or Latte?
I don’t even know what they are! I don’t drink coffee, I don’t drink tea… It makes my life pretty
awkward. I’m pretty sure my body despises chocolate, but I do drink hot chocolates occasionally
Question 9: Hugs or Kisses?
Hugs always! Absolutely no competition.
Question 10: Spicy or mild food?
SPICY! I’ve always been a pretty fussy eater and I always ate plain things but then I discovered spice
and now I can hardly stand anything that isn’t spicy. I put my chilli flakes on everything. My favourite
food currently is these beef steak things that are just covered in pepper, peppers and chilli.
Question 11: Leather or Lace?
Leather, although I don’t wear either anymore. I need to bring my leather jacket out again.
Question 12: Overdressed or Underdressed?
Underdressed. I don’t often dress up. I wouldn’t say I exactly dress like a tomboy or anything, I wear
very girly colours a lot of the time, but dresses will never suit whatever figure I manage to have at the time. If I’m
not going anywhere extraordinary, there’s no point in getting dressed up!
Question 13: Adventure or Comfort?
I’m not really sure what it means by comfort. If I’m just left alone I tend to not do a lot. Where I live I
don’t really know where to go and have adventures, I feel it’s quite boring. There is no where nice to walk!! I am probably
happiest when I’m out walking and finding new things though. When Alex and I were in Cardiff last
month we did 18,000 steps or more every day we were there, I just never wanted to stop exploring! We
didn’t even go up as far as the city centre much, we still have so much more to explore.
Question 14: TV Series or Movies?
As I mentioned before, I prefer TV series. I probably always have. A film just isn’t long enough for me to
gain a connection with it. I’m pretty picky when it comes to TV series too though I think I have quite a
specific, very British taste.
Question 15: Rock or Country Music?
I don’t like country artists that people who don’t like country music would instantly think of
when they think of country music. Eh??? Does that make sense? Have I melted your brain..?
Anyway, I do love the current and modern country music. Country and rock
are my two favourite genres and I love when they’re both mixed together. The UK needs more country
music, honestly I find most of the stuff in the charts to be completely unlistenable. A couple of my
current favourite country songs would be from Chris Stapleton, Old Dominion, Luke Bryan, Walker
Hayes. I’m also a massive Imagine Dragons fan – I think they count as pop rock though. A little more
irrelevant, but Tom Walker (my playlist on Spotify is mainly indie rock) and George Ezra are current favourites too.
16: Red or White Wine?
I don’t really drink. I’d choose Rosé over either of them any day. White tastes absolutely
disgusting. I used to love red wine but I drank way too much one New Years Eve and haven’t been able
to go back to it since. I would probably say red still though, out of these two.
Question 17: Working alone or in a team?
Probably on my own. Okay, fine, definitely on my own.
Question 18: Swimming or sunbathing?
Neither (I realise that’s my answer to most of these, oops)! I find sunbathing boring and I just haven’t
been swimming since school.
Question 19: Fast-food or sit down restaurant?
I don’t (can’t) eat fast food anymore (I have takeaways but not McDonalds, KFC, Burger King etc.) so I
suppose it has to be a sit down restaurant. As long as it isn’t too fancy then that’s fine. I love something
as simple as Bella Italia, I’ve most probably mentioned that before.
Question 20: Matched or mismatched socks?
I think they look better matched, but who has time to match up socks? I only tend to buy black socks
now since I spend most of my time at work, but each pair often have different coloured toes. So I don’t
completely mismatch them, just a little.
Question 21: Dancing and singing?
I broke my arm dancing once…and I can’t sing. But both are still fun, even though I can’t do either.
Question 22: Phone or the internet?
Internet because I’d just use my ipad instead I guess. A mobile without internet would be pretty
pointless these days!
See you soon!
